





Jay Mesnard
Biography
Raised in small town Clyde, Ohio, Jay Mesnard has been simulation racing since 2001. Several of those years have been with various online leagues. Jay was born February 21st, 1986. Jay competed in family owned MMRL before racing in the RRL. Jay has this to say about his online racing experience... "I'm glad to have matured to the stage I'm at now, and I hope in addition to many wins already compiled, that I also add many more wins, and a Cup Series Championship to accompany my much-anticipated RIRS Championship from the 08-09 season." Never winning a Cup Championship, Jay hopes his luck will change in the near future.
Team/Owner
Jay Mesnard is not only a proud member of Gerald Mesnard Motorsports which also fields cars for Michael Mesnard, Evan Mesnard, and Gerald Mesnard, but Jay is also very proud to introduce his new Cup team for the 2009 season and beyond, Forty-Sixx Racing. Jay has said that this team will be a force to be reckoned with. Forty-Sixx Racing has a full-time lineup of three cars, and one running part-time for one season. Signed on to the team are Angie Mesnard in the #64 Rockstar Energy/Camel Chevrolet SS, Celebeth Cantoria in the #35 Royal Crown Cola Chevrolet SS, and Teresa Mesnard in the #96 Marlboro Menthol Chevrolet SS. Jay has said he plans to end his career with this team in a part-time status.
The History of Jay Mesnard and the #46
Jay Mesnard and the #46 go back many years to the beginning of his career. Jay has had great success with the #46 winning multiple races. In addition, he won his only career championship, the inaugural RIRS championship in the #5. Jay has been quoted as saying his career will end in the #46, but that someday maybe a worthy driver will take it over for him.
